The 10 Most Memorable Moments in Final Fantasy 12

God its been awhile since FFXII. Im re-playing FFX-2 and doing a perfect game (It will take awhile) but ill do as many as I can:

10. The scene where Balthier Picks up Vaan and throws him off the palace walls.

9. First scene where the two guards get pickpocketed by Vaan.

8. Ending

7. Scene where you meet Larsa.

6. When vaan asks Fran's age

5. (not really a scene) When you see Penelo, you can see through (Slightly) her suit. Try it.

I don't particularly enjoy this game as much as just about any previous Final Fantasy game, but I'll give it a go. I have to say my #1 complaint is the camera and how its fixed along a certain axis and so damn rigid and possibly one of the worst 3rd-person cameras I've had to deal with in ANY rpg! You know a magazine is utter BS when they gave this game a 10/10 or Perfect score despite its many *many* flaws.

These will be memorable moments, though not all really of a positive nature.

This will be my Top 10, post-Leviathan (after you get all party members).

10 - Hearing the opening music on the save/load screen for the first time, still my favorite theme in the whole game

9 - Watching a certain someone stab Reks after he sees the dead king. Frankly I didn't really feel much sympathy for the effeminate Reks.

8 - Getting to control Fran for the first time and admiring her little bondage bunny outfit. Its like some guy's fantasy come to life, a literal 'playboy bunny' in a game? How did the ESRB miss this? Lol...

7 - A kid from the Giza Plains village (in Dry, prior to any rains) mentions that the entire village only consists of women and children. Then he says 'Betcha you were wonderin where all the men are!' and kinda slyly winks at Vaan (though you can't really see it cause the camera is crap), thereby implying Vaan's sexual preferences.

6 - First encounter with Werewolves in Giza Plains and running the f- away in terror.

5 - First encounter with Gnoma Entites in Dalmasca Westersand during sandstorms. They *still* creep me the f- out with the way they look, possibly the creepiest enemy in the game.

4 - First encounter with Dustia and insta-dying from a single Dark blast.

(You can probably tell these 'first encounters' with insanely-powerful enemies that insta-kill me weren't particularly fun though they were memorable)

3 - The 'betrayal' by the leader of Bhujerba to have you arrested, then finally realizing he had done that on purpose (and thus not betrayed you) so that you could rescue the princess.

2 - Seeing the view from Kaff Terrace in Bhujerba for the first time. Quite possibly the most beautiful view I've seen in a game.

1 - Having to restart the game once I first reached the Leviathan after I finally read a FAQ that told me about the Zodiac Spear chests. I was far along but not *that* far along compared to the rest of the game so I restarted.

Hmm, really? I think FFXII deserved its 10/10 scores. The game has flaws, but as an entire experience it was nearly perfect. Maybe that doesn't make much sense, but it does to me...

I can't really offer a list of my favorite moments because it's been a long time since I played... but I'm shocked this thread hasn't received more attention over the year+ it's been posted. Maybe 10 is too many?
