Forum upgraded!

The forum has been upgraded to a brand new version, which includes brand new features. There is a new set of post icons, a completely redeveloped control panel, a new thread rating system, a new look for the way your posts are displayed, a new control panel for Moderators, etc. You will find a lot of little changes here and there if you keep your eyes open.

You may also notice a few things missing, but nothing major.

Note that there may still be some bugs here and there, so if you find any don't hesitate to PM me or create a thread in the Feedback & Assistance section of the forum.

Also, in case you haven't noticed, the forum URL has changed from http://www.ffxii.us/forum/ to http://forum.ffxii.us/

This caused a bit of downtime this morning while the server readjusted. My apologies.

Jed. This has got to be one of the best updates you have done... well, from a mod perspective anyway with the Mod CP. the updates are getting bigger each time xD I mean the last one; you completely rearanged the forum and the update before that you changed the skin on the forum...

The forum is definatly improving, we just need the activity now xD

Im looking around and I love all the subtle little things that have been added.. such as custom changing your rank xD im no longer Knight Of The Round xD though, was I the only one? bah..

New mod appointed aswell, Hey Mrs. Beasley! welcome to the team... though... the team seem to be dropping like flies what with Clarity, Blueness and Hon all gone =[ that makes you the only female since alsid isn't here so there is no reason for me to cross dress since I can't torture him =[ its not like I was doing it for fun............

Thanks for the compliments, Val. Much appreciated. I think the Mod CP will be a great addition and I am glad to have Mrs.Beasley as part of the team. She is just the kind of influence we need around here.

Thanks for reminding me about that text, Vardonir. I will fix it shortly. Regarding the layout, however, nothing has really changed except for the style of your posts. What is TDH?

Wide? It's the same width as it was before (as far as I'm aware, anyway). Could you perhaps take a screenshot of what you see and post it here?

Technically, that's impossible.
I can't really take a screenshot of what I see in my own eyes.
Maybe in the future, but...

Apparently, the size of the site (as in: from the border on the left to the right) is exactly the same (I used a ruler) just as last time's, but it seems that the sidebar of the posts (the stuff with the avatar, post count, etc.) made the forum look a little wider, since it doesn't count as a part of the message's body. *facepalm*

Bah. Damn vision problems.
